1-EAT (30 minutes)
Share a meal together/fellowship
-May begin #2 during or after the meal
2-SHARE (15 minutes)
-The storyteller may be a new member with an “unpolished story” or a seasoned member demonstrating how to tell their story with Jesus as the hero. See resource: Telling Your Story (PDF)
-The group may be invited to ask questions or give feedback
3-STUDY AND PRAY (30 minutes) –
STUDY: Spend time listening to and discussing God’s Word as a group resources-
-Practice the following lens:
1) Who is God and what has He done?
–Response oriented:
Look for opportunities to put God’s word to work
PRAY: Take time to pray about what you have just read and discussed
-Silence and listening are crucial to seek the Spirit’s direction for life/mission
-You may start and end with petition and intercession for group members and those you
hope to disciple, along with confession and praise
-Share any Spirit-led insights that come as you pray
4-TRAIN/PLAN (30 minutes)
TRAIN: Utilize resources to develop and empower leaders in this MC
Missional Community Training Page:

-blog posts or book excerpts
-groups may train one week and plan another or merge the two each week
PLAN: Discuss details or possibilities for open/missional endeavors
-Bigger picture at first and more details as events near
-Also include the mission of our everyday callings
-Routinely evaluate covenant and progress
5-DNA GROUPS (30-60 minutes)

Break into same gender groups of 3-4 people for personal discipleship
-This may best be scheduled at an alternative time/place with each DNA group
-Help one another apply the Gospel to specific areas of their lives
